Dear Parents and Guardians,
We are currently watching the local and national weather forecasts. Currently, snow is forecast for Thursday into Friday. Of course, this picture may change quickly.
We will use Teachers2Parents Text Messaging Service to keep you informed of any decisions we make. Information will be sent to you early in the morning and throughout the day.
Our usual response, in the case of adverse conditions, is to advise only travel if it is safe for you and your family.
If adverse weather arrives, or is set to arrive during lessons, we will also permit pupils to go home or be collected before the end of the day. Again, if this is the case we will give you plenty of notice.
Forest School update
Pupils from Woodpeckers have been enjoying their time in the forest school each Friday with our trained Forest School Leader Mrs Mac.
The photographs highlight the range of skills our pupils are developing each week.
Every Tuesday pupils from Hedgehogs, Robins and Squirrels take it in turns to spend quality time in the Forest School - parents are welcome to join us in upcoming parent days in the forest.
Christmas Week
The Christmas Countdown has begun at Wolverley Sebright.
Our wonderful pupils in Robins and Squirrels performed The Nativity twice at Wolverley Secondary School yesterday. All singers and narrators were outstanding! They even taught me how to floss!
Coming up today we have Hedgehogs performing at St. John's Church. Our youngest children can't wait until they perform their version of The Nativity.
On Wednesday some of our Key Stage 2 pupils will perform at The Nightingales Rest Home singing carols from their upcoming Carol Concert, which takes place in St Johns Church on Thursday evening
Also on Thursday we serve up Christmas Lunch and finally on Friday after the class Christmas parties our children will be visited by a VIP who I hear will leave his sledge on our roof!!!
What an exciting and wonderful time in School to be had by all. We must say a special thank you to all our families for their support and kindness especially our PTA who have been busy selling raffle tickets (you still have time to purchase tickets before the big draw on Friday)
From all the staff and governors of Wolverley Sebright we wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
Gurdwara Visit
Pupils from Key Stage 2 had the opportunity to visit the Gurdwara this week.
A truly magical experience - please check out the class pages for further details and photographs
