Hello from the Frank Chapman Center. We have had an amazing first day!!! The kids cooked their own lunch on a fire and then made dens, which we tested by pouring water over them. Needless to say most of them got quite wet!! We then had our tea and Mrs Reeves Walter came to visit. We had chicken curry and chocolate cake for pudding. We then played some games, finishing with a mass water fight, where I don't think any of us could have got any wetter!! We then dried off, had hot chocolate and watched Jumaji. Kids slept o.k. We are off climbing this morning and archery this afternoon. We will hopefully update you again later.
See you tomorrow,
Love all!!

Well we arrived safely after our long journey to... The Frank Chapman Centre in Bewdley. We soon began work on setting up the tents, making camp fires, cooking our lunch and making items during a bush craft session.
Mrs Reeves-Walters joined us for supper and also stayed to play cricket on the field. Mrs Harrison and Mr Price were amazed by her skill and talent on the field!!!
We have now set off for our evening activity in the forest and look forward to spending our first night under the stars.
Wish you were here...

I would like to thank the dedicated parents and grandparents who have given up their time to work on our amazing forest school. This rich and valuable resource is used by our children each week which they love.
This weekend we will continue to make this fantastic area a very special place where our children can learn.
Please check out the Hedgehogs class page for photos and updates.

This week we all felt each pupil in our school should be recognised for showing the value ofRespectfulness.
Hedgehogs tip toed around school when year 6 were taking their SATs
Squirrels made sure doors were closed quietly when year 6 were taking their SATs
Woodpeckers shared their teacher and showed year 5 lots of respect when year 6 were taking their SATs
Year 5 from Owls were very respectful of Mr Price and took care of him once year 6 had completed their SATs
Year 6 from Owls showed each other respect and worked hard to complete their SATs this week.
Well done to everyone!

World Cup football
To celebrate England taking part in the World Cup pupils from Owls will be selling England goodies in school on Friday 13th June for 50p each.
On this day pupils can come into school dressed in sports clothes & purchase an item from the England goodie tub if they wish.
Tom Jones from Owls has created a World Cup display in school & will record the outcomes of each game. We hope your child will want to join in with the football celebrations.
