The Railway Children Reading and Writing
Enjoy reading The Railway Children, by Edith Nesbit, either independently or with a family member.
Task One
Find out about the author and poet, Edith Nesbit and plan and create an information fact file about her life. Include things like, where and when she was born, how many children's books and poems she wrote, where she lived, what hobbies and interests she had......
Task Two
As you read each chapter, write a summary of the main events in the chapter and include an illustration which portrays the main events.
Task Three
At the end of each chapter, list six verbs, nouns and conjunctions.
