WELCOME TO OWLS

We are year 6 and the oldest children in the school. Mr Price is the class teacher and Mrs Brown is working in the classroom during many of the morning sessions.

On Monday afternoons year 6 rotate between: Mrs Hall, who takes Spanish sessions; Mrs Valentine and Mrs Hemming, who are teaching art; and Mrs Brown who teaches R.E.

P.E. is taught on Tuesdays, by Mr Price, and Friday afternoons by Mr Mcdonnell and Miss Bidnell.

Our current topic is the Ancient Mayans and the class text for this half term is the Well of Sacrifice by Chris Eboch. Children are welcome to bring in their own copies of the text so that they may read and study alongside as we progress through the story (although this is not required).

Homework is normally issued on Fridays (and consists of maths and literacy) and is due in the following Tuesday. Spellings and times tables will be given out on Tuesdays and tested the following Tuesday. Please see the parent overview below for more information.
