Hello to parents and children
I hope you are all keeping well. Thank you for emailing the work your children have done - it's wonderful to see what they are up to.
The focus for maths this week is learning how to measure the perimeter of a shape. So please take the opportunity to encourage your children to measure the perimeter of items inside your house as well as in your garden. There is range of activities too for the children on the remote learning page.
The English writing focus in based around the topic of Railways and DT, where the children are invited to collect junk from home and design and create their own steam engine train. After the train has been made they may then write a set of instructions on how to make a steam train out of junk.
