Escape through the Arts...

Escape to through the arts - African Art

 

Why not have a go at creating your own Maasai necklaces (paper plates are a good resource for this). African patterns are very bright and colourful. What can you find out about the Maasai tribes?
or
Create a 'Sunset Safari' piece of artwork. This could include any of the African Big Five (elephant, buffalo, leopard, rhinoceros and lion) or other safari animals (giraffe, zebra, hippo...)
or
Create an animal mask for one of the 'Big Five' (below are examples of animal masks, not all of these are one of the Big Five)
