Homework
Just a note about this week's spelling/Literacy homework (brought home Wednesday 11th January).
You will find that the spellings your child has brought home today are fairly easy, the focus this week is not only the spelling but how to use these words in sentences. The connectives should be used to join ideas or extend sentences,
eg so
We have been leaning about connectives so our homework this week is to practise them.
while
We had fun on the trim trail today while the rest of the school were still in their classrooms.
The children have been asked to write the same number of sentences as usual using a connective from their list in each sentence.
