We make use of Good to be Green in our class and those pupils who excel either in terms of behaviour, attitude or achievements are rewarded with privilege cards. Any pupil who receives a privilege is able to 'cash it in' for a reward at the end of the week. Some of the rewards include sharing a show and tell with the class, a sweet from the tub or a special duty such as time with their younger buddies.
As older pupils in the school, we encourage everyone in Owls to identify and celebrate the positive behaviours in others. To this end, we use a nomination board in class. Each day pupils can make one nomination for a person or group of people that they feel need to be acknowledged. At the end of the week, at least one nomination is selected for each day of the week and privileges are rewarded.
