Governors 

Our Governing body is responsible for the conduct of our school and for promoting high standards.

Our Governors ensure clarity and set the vision for the school so that the school works efficiently and effectively towards achieving its vision. It does this by building a thorough knowledge of the school and its community, by both supporting and constructively challenging the school, and by ensuring accountability and compliance. It holds the Headteacher to account for the educational performance of the School and its pupils. Our Governing body also oversees the financial performance of the school and ensures the expenditure of the school’s monies are monitored at all times.

The Governing body of our school is made up of Parent governors, Staff governors and Foundation Governors. The term of office for a Governor is four years.

The school is a Voluntary Aided school and it is reconstituted in line with the Instrument of Government dated 28^th January 2015.

Governors are also responsible for ensuring that the School meets statutory requirements with regard to Safeguarding, Health and Safety, the Curriculum and Finance.
