Wolverley Secondary school Super science
We had an amazing time with Mrs Hall using Bunsen burners. We listened carefully to the instructions to stay safe. We learnt that a raoaring flame can melt glass! Gladly we were very safe and looked after ourselves. We lit our bunsen burner with a splint and changed the flame from safe to heating and then to a roaring flame before switching it off.
Miss Templar showed us some forensic skills using chromatography. We had to draw a spot using colouring pens and pipette drops of water into the middle to see how the ink seperated.
