The Aztecs
The children have been so enthusiastic about our start to 'The Aztecs'. Many are very keen for our next lesson about human sacrifice! We have talked about how the Aztecs began and where they lived. The children have worked in groups to make a replica of the city 'Tenochtitlan' which was built on a swampy lake and made up of lots of 'floating islands' with a canal system networking through the land.
