Everyone completes activities at different paces so allow your child time to take in what the activity is about.

One maths and english activity a day is enough, try to allow them to work independently, but be there if they ask for guidance.

Give time to practice their times tables either using the booklets in the home learning pack or using timestables.co.uk or TT Rockstars. 

Spelling practice and time to read are also important, and reading literature of any kind counts, magazines, comic and newspaper or a story, whichever they prefer. 

I shall be putting regular activities on the google classroom to help entertain and keep things fresh and new. Try to get your child to log in each day so that they can chat to their class mates and find out what everyone has been doing. Each morning I post a good morning greeting and again at the end of the day to reflect on what we have been up to and to celebrate individual's work and contributions.
