Bedtime Stories
Dear Parents,
Welcome to our new bedtime stories initiative.
As a school we value reading highly as we see a direct link with progress and how it can enhance vocabulary.
In Nursery you will receive a folder containing a reading record for you to note down how much your child enjoyed and engaged in the story and a story in which your child has chosen out of out story tree with help from a member of staff, reading the blurb so they have a insight of what the story is going to be about.
You can also include any additional stories that you have read together during the week, for each story your child reads at home they will receive a sticker on our bedtime story board.
This will be changed on Mondays and Fridays depending on when your child attends nursery.
We hope you enjoy sharing stories at bedtime.
