Positive Behaviour

Our school rules:

• Good Listening
• Kind words in a calm voice
• Respect ourselves and each other
• Kind hands and kind feet

Class rewards and privileges.

Children who are ‘Green all week’ will be rewarded with a sticker and certificate at the end of the week. We will also choose children who have been especially good to be our ‘Privilege Card’ holders, who will have special jobs to do in the classroom the following week. These will include things like; ‘Line Leader’ and ‘Classroom Monitor'

The final reward for good behaviour are the 'Frogs in the Jar'. These are a whole class reward, and are awarded to the whole class when everyone does something well. This may be coming into the classroom quietly, lining up nicely, all reading at home, all doing their homework plus many others. When the jar is full there will be a whole class reward which we will decide on as a class.

Rodney the Robin

Rodney the Robin is our class mascot. He will go home with a different child each week and that child gets to take him on all their adventures. We ask that you take photos of Rodney while he is staying with you, and record his adventures in Rodney's journal. Your child will then share what they got up to together at the end of the week. Rodney will go home on a Thursday and we ask that he is brought back, with his journal, the following Thursday for your child to share with their friends.
