Curriculum Overview
Autumn Term Topic 1:
We are really looking forward to the new school year and making our learning fun and interesting.
We have a geography focus this half term looking at
Rainforests with an enquiry question of
Why are rainforests important to us?
Below is a list of our main focus in some of our curriculum areas:
- Art – to be able to use techniques to create basic perspective.
- PSHE focus on being me in my world
- Spanish language for the topic of ‘Presenting Myself’
- Music is Young Voices
- Science sessions will focus on classification
- PE focus will be ball skills and tag rugby
Class text and English focus
We will be using the text The Matchbox Diary by Paul Fleishman for our shared class read.
