Farm to Fork

Our topic this term is Farm to Fork. During this topic, we will be learning all about the life cycle of animals, their food chains, where our food comes from and to understand the basic principles of a healthy and balanced diet. At the end of our topic, we have arranged a visit to Little Owl Farm Park (more details to follow).

Timetable

PE

Robins are timetabled for PE every Monday and Thursday afternoon. The children will need their PE kit in school, including appropriate footwear. As the warmer weather is approaching, please make sure your child has a sunhat, sunglasses and sun cream in school.

Home Learning

This term, Maths and English activities will be sent home on a Wednesday and due in the following Tuesday. New spellings will continue to go home every Friday to practise, for a spellings test the following Friday.

Forest School

Robins will have forest school on Tuesday afternoons starting from 9th January. They will need wellies which should be kept in school if possible and to come to school wearing suitable clothing for outdoor activities.
