Topic
Topic - Animals & Evolution
Our topic will be science based this half term, looking at animals and evolution. We will look at animal classification, how they suit their environment, evolution and the big bang. It will link to writing biographies in English and looking at famous scientists.
Topic - WWI
After half term we will then be looking at world war 1. Looking at its history. In English we will read The War Horse by Michael Morpurgo and the children are very keen to write about animals in the war.
Topic - The Maya
We have had a great time looking at The Maya, learning about the ancient civilisation and their customs. I'm sure the learning we did on rituals and sacrifice will be remembered for a long time.
