Try some of these PE challenges at home:
- Complete 20 lunges 10 burpees and 20 squats
- Can you practise balancing as if you were on a tightrope? Can you walk forwards and backwards whilst keeping your balance?
- Stretch it out. Can you touch your toes?
- Can you jog on the spot for 1 minute?
- Throw a ball in the air, clap and catch it. Can you clap twice before you catch it? Can you spin around once before you catch it?
- Do 10 sit ups! Challenge: Can you do 10 more?
- If you have one, go on a bike ride
- Make a target and practise rolling a ball along the floor. Can you make it reach the target?
- Practise throwing and catching a ball. Change the ball from a football to a tennis ball to increase the challenge!
- Can you skip for 30 seconds?
- Bounce it and don't drop it! How long can you bounce the ball for?
- Create a small obstacle course in your garden
- Teach yourself how to juggle
- Create a short dance routine
- Practise hopping on one foot and then try hopping on the other
- Can you do 20 star jumps?
