We have a nurture provision within school called The Woodlands that any of our pupils can access any time of the day.
This was developed to ensure the needs of all our pupils were met and to provide an area within school where any of our pupils can go to.
The main aim is to provide strategies that can help pupils who may need support to access all aspects of school life. It is also there if pupils just want to speak to someone about anything that may be a worry for them.
Lunchtimes in any school is a time which could present with challenges from eating with others to playing games with rules. The Woodlands supports our vision that every part of the day is a learning opportunity.
I believe that all our pupils at one time or another will face a challenge in or outside of school. We see Woodlands as an extension of every classroom that enhances our inclusive provision and that any of our pupils or parents can access whenever the need arises.
