Reading: Please read with your child at least 3 times a week and record entires in diaries. Children will be rewarded with readathon points for each entry. 

 

Spellings: These will be introduced in class and sent home to practise in spelling journals. There will be a weekly spelling test.

 

TimesTables: Multiplication and division facts wil be practised and tested at regular intervals using online platforms including Education City and TT Rockstars.  

 

Google Classroom: Weekly home learning activities will be posted here for the children to access in preparation for forthcoming lessons. This might be a video to watch, a piece of text to read or a task to complete. 

 

All online learning platforms are accessed via Wonde using an emoji password. All children are familiar with this. Please ask if you require support at home with getting online.
