What a wonderful performance from the pupils in Robins and Squirrels. Our first review is in and here it is...
Dear KS1 pupils,
Thank you for letting me watch your wonderful Christmas performance. I really enjoyed listening to your singing, dancing and watching your very professional acting. You had a lot words to remember and a you must have worked very hard to remember all the actions and directions. I really liked your costumes and I thought the idea of the Sky News reporter and the TV on the stage was really unique. Thanks for a really entertaining evening and well done again. Happy Christmas.

Dear Schools
Over the past couple of weeks we have been receiving calls from local residents advising us that there is a group of children going around Carol Singing! This started in mid November, and I'm sure will continue through December.
Whilst there is nothing particuarly wrong in them doing this, there are concerns that these children are out without a responsible adult, in the hours of darkness, and in most cases wanting money for singing. We have been told that one child was only aged only 5-6yrs
There is also the fact that it is far too early to be out Carol Singing and the calls to police have been from residents who are saying these children are calling on a near daily basis, sometimes to the same address!
There are also a lot of elderly residents who live alone in the area who do not wish to be bothered at all times of the evening with people knocking on their doors, and finally the added worry we have, of not knowing who these children could be coming into contact with, when knocking a strangers door.
Could I ask for you to mention this in your assemblys to your pupils and also to highlight this to parents either by text/ email or on your newsletters please, and if anyone knows who these children may be to contact me on the below, so that I can pay a visit to their family.
Thank you for your help in this matter
