Class Photos
Mr. Bryan Harris will be in school on Wednesday 10th June to take class photographs. We will need Hedgehogs to be in school by 8.45am in order to take their photo before they go swimming.
Photographs will be available to purchase the following week.
The Orchard
The Orchard is taking shape and soon the pupils will be able to access this section of the school. The natural shade from the trees will provide excellent relief from the sun!
Picnic tables and benches have been ordered and will soon be located in the area.
Thank you to our parents who have spent time creating a wonderful area for our pupils.
Tennis Competition
Mr McDonnell would like to thank the following pupils who took part in the tennis tournament this week and a special thank you to the parents and grandparents who were able to take the children to this event.

Allotment
The school is very excited to share the news that we now have an allotment in Wolverley that our children will be able to visit and develop.
Mr Price will lead the project and will need pupils to help him develop the area ready for all our pupils to use in time.
We need your help!
The group that is leading the Allotment development have applied for funding for ECO toilets. All we need is for parents to follow the link below and vote for the Wolverley Allotment to secure the funding for the toilets.
We hope you can help - thank you!
SATs Week
We are extremely proud of our year 6 pupils who have this week taken part in the End of Key Stage 2 Statutory Tests in reading, grammar, punctuation and spelling and maths.
Mr Thomas, the Headteacher from Wolverley Secondary School, came into school on Tuesday to wish the pupils well and to also moderate our test procedures.
All pupils coped really well and we could not be more proud of them. All test papers have been collected to be marked externally and we will know how well the pupils have performed in July.
Thank you to all staff who came in early to support the pupils and cook/ prepare breakfast each day - what a team!
Good weather for the 3rd day in a row - quite unusual for this trip! This morning, as we thought, the children slept in for longer - in fact we had to wake some of them up!
Another full day of activities including canoeing, gorge scrambling and rock climbing, amazing how determined the children are when trying new activities, they should be proud of themselves for what they have achieved over the last couple of days.
We are now doing our after dinner jobs, starting our packing (can't believe it's that time already) before heading out for a bit of free time at the local park.
Pyjamas, hot chocolate and bed is the order of play for later - hopefully a great night's sleep will prepare us for the castle visit and journey home tomorrow.
Everyone happy, well-fed and looking forward to tonight's activity.
See you tomorrow.
Goodbye from Wales
First full day at Arete and so much fun and laughter. Not many of us stayed dry as gorge scrambling and canoeing were the main activities today. Those of us who were gorge scrambling walked, slid and floated in the water while those in the canoes raced and splashed!
When we got back to the centre we warmed up and ate a very good dinner - it was amazing to see what an appetite we had worked up during the day's activities!
Tonight we have had a bracing walk along the coast road to Caernarfon castle.
It all seems very quiet at the moment - are they actually all fast asleep so soon after lights out?? Time will tell!
