Environment Minister Focus

Lauren Parkinson and her junior ministers led an assembly this week on the effects of littering . The presentation that Lauren had created informed all the pupils of the dangers to wildlife and our school grounds.
Moving forward the Environment department will focus on promoting keeping our grounds litter free!

Movember at Wolverley Sebright
Thu 30 Nov 2017'The male staff have been partaking in Movember this month at Wolverley Sebright Primary School. Mr Leake, Mr McDonnell, Mr Bishop and Mr Price have been growing moustaches in order to raise awareness for men's health issues.'

Update! Some of our parents may be aware that during the half term break Mrs Eastwood, who worked in our school for over 30 years and is a School Governor, had a fall in her home.
She is recovering and I went to see her last night in hospital. As always Mrs Eastwood was smiling and asking how we all were.
I know you will join me in wishing her speedy recovery. I will organise for the children to create a Get Well Card which I will take on my next visit this week.

On Tuesday 26th September at 2.50pm (just before hometime) Baby Harrison (no name just yet) arrived weighing 9lb 5 oz.
Mummy and baby are doing really well and can't wait to visit us soon!

New Website
Tue 05 Sep 2017Over the summer our website has been updated to make it more smartphone friendly. It also contains more features including up to date house point scores, attendance percentage for each class and CEOP.CEOP is a facility that parents and pupils can access to report issues around online and internet concerns.New class pages will be up and ready over the next couple of weeks. Previous years pages have been archived so you can still visit past memories.We will continue to upload class, whole school letters and newsletters on the website.All updated policies are available to read under key information along with recent results for end of key stage 2 SATs.If you haven't already, check out our website (each visit is added to our counter) -
Meet the Teacher
Tue 05 Sep 2017During the first two weeks of term staff will have an opportunity to share with parents what will be covered this year in their new class with our new 'Meet the teacher' sessions. Please sign up in the main reception area if you are available for the your child's 'Meet the teacher' in our school hall from 9-9.30am.Robins - Friday 8th SeptemberOwls - Tuesday 12th SeptemberKingfishers - Wednesday 13th SeptemberSquirrels - Thursday 14th SeptemberWoodpeckers- Friday 15th SeptemberEach session will cover items such as curriculum and topics, timetables, British Values and statutory testing for certain year groups. The brief session will take around 20 minutes followed by an opportunity for parents to look around the school and visit your child's classroom.
