WSPA
Pop-up Shop
Open for Business on Wednesday 3rd November 2.30pm - 3.30pm
We would like to start stocking up on items we can sell in our new WSPA Pop-up Shop (Wednesday 3rd November on the top playground 2.30pm - 3.30pm)
We have pre-loved school uniform ready to sell and would like the opportunity to sell winter coats, scarfs, gloves, forest school clothes, Christmas jumpers, dressing up clothes for theme days...
If your child has grown out of last years clothes and they are too good to recycle we would love to take it off your hands.
If you get chance over the weekend or half term have a look through and please send in any items that we can sell in our Pop-up Shop.
All money raised will be spent in school on items the children have asked for.
As always we are very grateful of your time, support and generosity.
Harvest Hampers
We are collecting food for the Food Bank as part of our Harvest Festival Service next week. Any tinned, boxed or canned items can be brought into school.
Each class has a Harvest Hamper Box which will take to the Food Bank next week.
Many thanks for your support.
Nursery Update
We will say a fond farewell to Mrs Pugh this week. After supporting the school to develop our new Nursery she has decided now is the right time to spend time on other projects. We thank her for all her hard work and wish her all the very best in the next stage of her life.
Miss Harrold and Mrs Wilks are very excited to welcome Mrs Stokes to the team and look forward to our families getting to know our new addition to our Nursery family.

Dear Parent
Re: Free School meal applications
Your child is eligible for a ‘universal free school meal’ if they are in Years Reception, 1 or 2. When your child reaches year 3, you will have to pay for a school meal daily if you wish them to receive one. However, your child may be eligible for a free school meal.
Free School Meals are awarded if you or your partner are claiming either;
If you wish to make an application, please do so using the
current online application process, available from the link below.
https://www.worcestershire.gov.uk/info/20062/schools/684/applying_for_free_school_meals
I would encourage you to apply, even if you are unsure. If your child is currently receiving a universal free school meal and is in year Reception, 1 or 2, I would still encourage you to apply now.
If you are eligible, the school will be contacted when the application has been processed. If you are
eligible, you will be issued with a code that you can bring into the school so your child will be provided with free school meals immediately.
If you have any questions, please contact Mrs Hackett in the school office
Many thanks
Dear Families,
We are thrilled to welcome our new Hedgehogs, who start their journey with us this week.
Our new Year 6 Class will get to meet them soon with our Buddie system able to fully resume this term.
We are all looking forward to the term ahead and excited by the many opportunities our children will have to learn, grow and achieve.
Each class and nursery will share in the coming days highlights from the first week back via Seesaw or on the School Website https://www.wolverleysebright.co.uk/
Although many restrictions within schools have been lifted we remain sensible in our approach to keeping everyone safe. A copy of our Risk Assessment is available to view following the link above.
If you do come on to the school site to drop off or collect your child please do safely and mindful of each other. Our aim is to prevent further disruptions and this will help.
Thank you again for your continued support as we navigate through this term. There is a wonderful feel around the school and it’s good to be back!
Mrs. RW
