Reading:
Reading is THE most important thing you can do with your child. Starting from a Thursday to the following Thursday it is expected that your child reads at home 5 times within this week. Each time you read with your child at home, please ensure that you record this in their reading record. Reading books will be changed on a Monday and Thursday. If you finish a book please make it clear that the book has been finished and you require a new book on book change day. If the book is finished before book change day, please still read with your child. This can be the same book again, which is great for fluency and understanding of the text.
Online homework:
Children should access Numbots and TT rockstars at least twice a week.
Spellings:
Spellings will be set on a Friday. The children will be tested the following Friday and new spellings will be provided.
