Chinese New Year

This week, the children have been learning all about Chinese New Year. We have looked at the Chinese Zodiac race and have written a letter to the Emperor, explaining why we think it is not fair that the rat won the race.The children have also identified which Chinese animal they are depending on the year they were born. In art, we have made Chinese dragons, paper lanterns and animal puppets. Last but not least, we have also had the chance to eat some yummy Chinese food. Happy Chinese New Year!
